1. Use of Services

Paws Abroad provides a digital pet travel planning platform that generates custom checklists, travel guidance, and optional concierge services to assist pet owners with international travel planning. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.

2. Account and Payment

Users must create an account and provide accurate personal and pet-related information. Services are available for purchase through tiered pricing. By purchasing, you agree to our pricing structure and authorize us to charge the applicable fee.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the platform lawfully and not misuse our content. You are responsible for verifying all travel requirements independently, even when using our checklists or concierge upgrades.

4. User Generated Content & Code of Conduct

Map Resources: You may submit pet-friendly locations (vets, parks, stores) to our community map:

• All submissions are reviewed by our moderators before appearing publicly
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to display your submissions
• We may reject or remove resources that are inaccurate, spam, or violate these Terms
• Disclaimer: PawsAbroad does not vet all resources for accuracy. User-submitted resources are provided "as-is." Always verify hours, services, and policies independently.

Messaging Code of Conduct: When using direct messaging:

• Be respectful and courteous to other travelers
• Do not spam, harass, or send inappropriate content
• Do not share personal contact information (phone, address) in initial messages
• Report abusive messages using the "Report" button
• Violating these rules may result in message restrictions or permanent bans

5. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, checklists, and platform features are the intellectual property of Paws Abroad LLC and may not be copied or redistributed without express written consent.

6. Termination & Account Bans

We may suspend or terminate access to our Services at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

User Bans: We may ban users who:

• Send spam or abusive messages (automatic ban after 3 reported messages)
• Submit fraudulent map resources
• Violate the Code of Conduct repeatedly

Banned users cannot send messages, submit resources, or appear on the community map. Bans may be temporary or permanent.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
