I'm Marisa — 2x pet industry founder, lifelong animal lover, and serial expat.
Seven years ago, I adopted my two rescues, Harley and Kalinda, in Hong Kong. We've made multiple international moves together. My first pet company began after I healed Kalinda's health through whole foods — it became an award-winning fresh dog food brand that helped thousands of dogs live healthier lives.
Even with years in the pet industry, I still found moving with my pets overwhelming — endless research, outdated rules, and no single place to turn for reliable answers. I built Paws Abroad so no one else would have to go through that alone.
