(and a Lot of Late Nights)

It started with a question:

"Why isn't there just one place that tells you what to do when traveling with your pet?"

When I was planning my international move from Canada to Thailand, I was quoted $1,300 for pet relocation help. The kicker? The advice I received was wrong.

So I did what most pet parents do: I stayed up late scouring government websites, decoding travel restrictions, translating forms, and praying I hadn't missed a single step. One error could've meant denied entry or quarantine.

That stress? It stuck with me. And I knew something needed to change.

From Scrappy Notes to Scalable Support

That trip wasn't my first. I've moved internationally multiple times with my two rescue dogs, Harley and Kalinda. I've cried in airports, argued with airlines, and woken up at 2AM wondering if I had the right vaccine timeline.

And every time I thought, "There has to be a better way."

I built and scaled my first companya human-grade pet food brand born from healing Kalinda's healthinto an award-winning national brand. But I knew my next mission had to be even more personal: solving this travel pain for pet parents everywhere.

A Sister-Brother Dream Team

I brought the idea to my brother, Adrian, a talented software engineer. We teamed up to build the tool I wish I'd had all those years ago: one that makes international pet travel feel clear, supported, and actually doable.

Together, we created Paws Abroad: a travel planner designed to help you skip the stress and focus on the joy of the journeywithout worrying if you missed a form, airline policy, or rabies timeline.
