I'm Marisa, two-time pet industry founder and serial expat.
Seven years ago, I adopted my two rescues, Harley and Kalinda, in Hong Kong. We've made multiple international moves together. My first pet company began after I healed Kalinda's health through whole foods. It became an award-winning fresh dog food brand that helped thousands of dogs live healthier lives.
Even with years in the pet industry, I still found moving with my pets overwhelming. Endless research, outdated rules, no single place to turn for reliable answers. I built Paws Abroad so no one else would have to go through that alone.
Today, we're more than a planner. We're a global community for cats and dogs, built on trust and shared experience, with the belief that pets belong with their people anywhere in the world.
